Rocky Mountain Power earns 2009 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year recognition

For the second year in a row, the Ecos-implemented ENERGY STAR New Homes program is awarded for "Excellence in Program Delivery."

Each year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) honor organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through energy efficiency. On March 2, the agencies announced this year’s ENERGY STAR award winners, including the Rocky Mountain Power ENERGY STAR New Homes Program, implemented by Ecos. This is the second year in a row the utility – which launched the program in 2005 – has earned Partner of the Year recognition for Excellence in Program Delivery.

Jan Kleszynski, senior marketing manager, oversaw several award submissions on behalf of our clients this year. “Of course we know that it’s an incredible program, but being recognized as a standout amongst our peer programs is a great honor,” she said.

Ecos will accompany representatives from the program to accept the award during the official ENERGY STAR Awards ceremony on March 31, 2009 in Washington, D.C.
