The effort included creating an online Sustainability Resource Center that is hosted on Coca-Cola’s customer partner site, cokesolutions.com. Ecos provided Coca-Cola and its customers with no-cost/low-cost solutions for becoming more sustainable, as well as educational resources and an online assessment tool. Ecos will also offer restaurant customers three tiers of services — ranging from education and benchmarking to full audits and multi-year action plans — designed to make operations more sustainable in the areas of energy, water, packaging and facilities. Ecos Marketing supported Coca-Cola’s sales efforts by creating educational PowerPoint presentations, brochures and handouts for sales meetings with customers. These efforts emerged from work that Ecos and Coca-Cola did for Burgerville Restaurants in 2008, in which Ecos conducted a full Tier 3 assessment of the Northwest restaurant chain’s energy and water use. Ecos recently completed production of a video “success story” about the work that was done and the savings realized by Burgerville. Click here to watch the results.
